Corporate Account Manager – Country Choice
Working Monday to Friday 39 Hours per week

We’re looking to add to our Corporate Sales Team with an experienced Corporate Account Manager, committed to developing strong working relationships with our customers both internally and externally, and driven by the need to deliver nothing but the very best results. You will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of a Joint Business Plan within a portfolio of important customers, achieving account profitability and sales targets, serving as the primary account contact & providing account leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term continuity of supply.
What you will be doing:
* To be a proactive member of the Corporate Sales Team by assisting development of business goals, objectives, strategic initiatives, and supporting colleagues
* Accountability for ensuring that company profitability, customer requirements and growth targets are met
* Implement, monitor, report & forecast on account performance against a sales budget to maximise future performance
* Focussed on improving the delivery or service in line with the contracted commitments (SLAs) and can identify opportunities for improvements that are acted upon
* Annually review customer account plans as part of the budgeting process for the following year
* Maintain regular communication with key contacts to identify and resolve issues whilst identifying and delivering new initiatives within existing customer base
* Partner with other departments as required to ensure that budgeted sales targets, account profitability, customer satisfaction and retention are achieved & exceeded
* Develop and implement individual account NPD strategies which support the business and account plan requirements
* Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets
* Confidently present the features and benefits of all Country Choice concepts both internally and externally in person and virtually as required
* Execute product demonstrations to customers
About you:
* Strong account management skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to work in a deadline driven environment
* Proactive approach with proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
* Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
* Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively both individually and as part of a team.
* A customer centric approach in all interactions with customers and peers
* Confident, self-motivated, and positive attitude
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Ability to build and manage strong relationships
Desired but not essential :
* Knowledge of the convenience retail market / competitor capabilities and reach
* Experience in a national account, or a key account role within the retail food industry
* Understanding of Salesforce and MEDDIC sales methodology
