To assist in the planning, organisation and implementation of resuscitation training and education both within the Trust and to external organisations, in accordance with the guidelines of the Trust, the Resuscitation Council (UK) and the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation. To assist in the planning, organisation and implementation of resuscitation and deteriorating patient simulation education programmes using high and low fidelity simulators and other relevant equipment. The post holder will work with a wide range of staff both internally and externally in accordance with the guidelines of the Trust. To work as a member of the cardiac arrest team providing specialist clinical advice, including specific advice on and interpretation of complex documentation and procedures on clinical and related professional issues. To attend cardiac arrests/emergency situations, involving adults, paediatrics and trauma patients both leading and operating as a team member as required. To participate in research and audit in relation to Resuscitation. To participate in trials and evaluations of resuscitation equipment across the Trust. Ability to direct Resuscitation Council (UK) and Advanced Life Support Group Courses
