Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading electromechanical engineering supplier near Sheffield The Successful Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop in Sheffield. The Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer /Mechanical Engineer will have a good electromechanical engineering background such as generators, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, gearboxes or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems. Will also carry out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products such as pumps, valves, electric motors, and more, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery. Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing. Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progresses. To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments. Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Requirements: Experience as a pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar. Good electromechanical engineering background such as wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems. Will ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical machinery such as pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves or similar. An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous would be advantageous. Willingness to commute to the workshop in Sheffield
