Various Locations throughout the City - Part time/Term time only
The post holder will be required to ensure the safe passage of children and adults crossing the road at specified times throughout the day at a designated location.
Applicants should have an understanding of road use and traffic awareness, as you will be controlling and directing traffic at the crossing point for the purpose of a safer route for children on their journey to and from school. All training and uniform will be provided. There are vacancies at various locations throughout the City.
Hours are set but different for each site and split over two or three shifts in a combination of morning, lunchtime and teatime, as established by the site assessment.andnbsp; Depending on site, the morning shifts begin anywhere from 7.30am until 8.15am until all school starts
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service this will be carried out prior to appointment.
