Energis is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for our client, a successful group of companies based in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy working environment to further their accounts experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales invoices and credit notes
2. Remittances and monitoring/reconciling banks daily
3. Maintaining customer pricing profiles in collaboration with Operations Managers
4. Setting up, maintaining and updating customer accounts and handling all account queries
5. Actively initiating the credit control procedure
6. Statutory reports such as EC Sales, Intrastat and VAT
7. Monthly intercompany transactions and reconciliations
8. Journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
Essential requirements:
9. At least 2 years working in a similar role
10. Excellent attention to detail
11. Experience working to and meeting deadlines
12. Competent with Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, Outlook and Excel
Desirable requirements:
13. IATI qualification, part qualification or desire to achieve
14. Experience working within a group environment
15. Experience working with ERP systems
Salary is in the region of £25 – 30k + benefits to include healthcare and pension.
