Project Manager – Food process
Rate: £380 - £400 per day
Initial: 3-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Location: Bradford / Leeds / Huddersfield / Halifax / Wakefield
Our client:
Our client specialise in the supply and installation of process engineering equipment into the pharma, food and beverage industries. They offer a full turnkey solution, project management to installation & handover, across the UK.
They are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, with the strong likelihood of extension due to upcoming project wins.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Engineering Director with project updates and any issues where necessary, raising snags as early as possible.
2. Full project lifecycle, including producing quotations, costs & estimates, and managing budgets & commercials.
3. Keep a close eye on finances & schedules.
4. Ensure projects are completed on time.
5. Chairing project meetings.
6. Liaising with all internal teams to ensure timescales and plans are adhered to.
7. Managing multiple projects with a value ranging from £200k up to £3million.
8. Managing customers daily to ensure their requirements are met.
Required Attributes:
1. Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Engineering (desirable but not essential).
2. Experience with process engineering, preferably in food / beverage industries.
3. A strong communicator, leader, organised, flexible mindset, striving for excellence.
4. Strong background in costing & estimating jobs.
5. Highly fluent in I.T. skills – working on Microsoft Office packages & Outlook.
Flexible to work in the office and travel to customer sites when required.
