Equipment Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Equipment Lead to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of a variety of equipment essential for our daily operations. The Equipment Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels, which directly impacts our production efficiency and workplace safety. You will manage a team of skilled technicians and work closely with other departments to coordinate timely repairs and preventive maintenance schedules. As the Equipment Lead, you will also be tasked with developing and implementing equipment training programs, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable about proper equipment handling and usage. Moreover, you will analyze equipment performance data and develop strategies for continuous improvement. Your leadership will contribute to fostering a culture of safety and reliability, as well as maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all equipment
Lead and manage a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Develop and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements
Provide training and guidance to staff on equipment usage and safety
Collaborate with other departments to address equipment needs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs for equipment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
Proven experience in equipment management or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
