Our Role
A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Loss Prevention team on a 12-month secondment, in the role of Loss Prevention Auditor. The primary objective being to deliver retail stock and compliance audits – supporting stores to be the best they can be.
The ideal candidate will be based around the M4 / M40 corridor. The role will suit an effective operator allowing them to widen their business knowledge and gain multi-site experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Accountable for the accurate completion and publication of the stock audit result in the South region; a blend of LP attended audits and store self-count audits.
* Develop and agree relevant and effective actions to improve the loss performance in adverse stores.
* Complete a robust programme of compliance audits across the region.
* Clearly identify the greatest risks to the region and develop the appropriate plans to mitigate the risk.
The skills and experience you’ll need
* Excellent understanding of stock management / D365 within The White Company.
* First-hand experience of completing stock audits and currently delivering excellent compliance results.
* Analytical thinking – a full understanding of stock processes, EPOS and stock systems to produce an accurate stock audit result.
* Understand complex stock file data and be able to liaise with IT and Finance Departments to highlight issues affecting stock file accuracy and integrity.
* Strong impact and influencing skills to engage colleagues, managers and senior managers in the required loss prevention actions.
* Confident Excel skills and the ability to learn new audit systems.
* To facilitate the stock audit schedule some evening and weekend working may be required, plus the requirement for overnight stays.
* Full UK Driving Licence required as this is a field-based role.
