This role is part of our Primary Care Services division, which supports GP practices in streamlining the production of electronic and GDPR-compliant medical reports. We achieve this through two key solutions: eMR, our SaaS platform that enables GP practices to efficiently generate and manage medical reports in-house, and eMR+, our fully managed outsourced medical reporting service, where we handle the entire process on behalf of practices. Both solutions are designed to improve accuracy, security, and efficiency in medical reporting.

The Role
Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer
Location & Term: Cardiff Full-time (Monday – Friday); Permanent, Hybrid.
Job Overview:
We’re now hiring our first Account Executive focused on Primary Care - a unique opportunity to join a growing health tech company and make a significant impact from day one. You’ll work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to shape the Primary Care go-to-market strategy, build the sales process from the ground up, and lead commercial engagement with GP practices and PCNs across the UK.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on autonomy, is passionate about healthcare innovation, and wants to help GP practices simplify and secure their medical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and Grow the Primary Care Sales Function
As the first dedicated sales hire for the Primary Care market under Medi2data's revised structure, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy. Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to define sales messaging, refine targeting, and develop a scalable sales process tailored to GP practices, PCNs, and wider primary care networks.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Primary Care sector through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and strategic networking. Build and manage a robust pipeline from scratch.
1. Client Discovery & Needs Analysis
Engage clinical and administrative stakeholders to understand their workflows, challenges, and goals. Translate insights into tailored solutions that align with our product offering and value proposition.
1. Product Demonstration & Value Communication
Deliver compelling, relevant demos that clearly articulate the clinical, operational, and compliance benefits of our solution. Confidently address questions and tailor the conversation to each stakeholder.
Own the full sales cycle — from qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and close. Work with internal teams to support commercial and contractual processes.
1. Stakeholder Relationship Building
Build credibility and long-term trust with GP partners, practice managers, PCN leadership, and ICB stakeholders. Identify potential champions within accounts and foster deeper engagement.
Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and outcomes in the CRM. Provide regular updates and performance insights directly to the Chief Commercial Officer to support data-led decisions and revenue forecasting.
1. Feedback Loop & Process Improvement
As an early sales hire, you’ll be instrumental in feeding insights from the field back into marketing, product, and customer success teams. Help shape everything from campaign messaging to onboarding flow.
Keep ahead of NHS policy shifts, funding opportunities, and competitor developments in the Primary Care space. Use this insight to refine targeting and positioning.
1. Attending Industry Events & Conferences
Represent Medi2data at relevant primary care, digital health, and NHS-focused events. Use these opportunities to network, build relationships, generate leads, and stay close to market trends.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in healthcare, SaaS, or digital health
* Experience selling into NHS Primary Care or a strong understanding of the sector is preferred
* Confident communicator who can engage clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
* Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Organised, self-driven, and resilient with a growth mindset
* Self-starter with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* CRM experience using HubSpot preferred
