The Role:
We are recruiting a Tax Associate who wishes to develop their career in a highly technical and commercial environment. You will provide high-quality professional services to our diverse range of entrepreneurial clients, including:
1. Preparing and filing VAT returns and self-assessment personal and corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Assisting in tax planning activities and identifying opportunities for clients to achieve tax savings.
3. Liaising with clients to gather required information and ensure accurate representation in all tax documents.
4. Collaborating with the tax team to analyse complex tax issues and develop strategic, tailored solutions.
5. Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations, providing accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
6. Fostering strong relationships with our entrepreneurial clients, ensuring they receive personalised and exceptional service.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in practice, ideally 2-5 years
2. Be professionally qualified ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA
3. Excellent IT skills, including Excel
4. Legal right to work in the UK
5. Ability to work from our Teesside office
