Student and Academic Services is currently recruiting for the role of Student Success and Retention Advisor, to join our Faculty Student Centres. The Service is responsible for ensuring that students have an excellent experience and provides services across the student and academic lifecycle from enrolment to graduation, covering everything from wellbeing services to ensuring new courses are set up correctly. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator, with experience in accurate record management and a desire to provide excellent student experience. Reporting to Student Success and Retention Team Leaders, you will work with colleagues in the Faculty Student Centres, the Service, wider University services, academics and students to provide a consistent and accurate service. As well as providing students support in events, retention and changes to their circumstances the successful candidate will also support our Faculty Student Centres in offering a welcoming presence for students. Working collaboratively with other roles, you will support our Welcome Desk on a rotational basis, triaging student and staff queries to offer a "right first time" service. You will be educated to A Level standard or have equivalent relevant work experience, possess excellent IT skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience providing high quality customer service in a complex environment, experience maintaining student or other complex records accurately, and the ability to understand and explain complex regulations to students and colleagues.
