Primary Function:
The primary function of this role is to provide clinical and managerial leadership to the day-to-day operation of the team. The post holder will carry a caseload of service users, delivering specialist interventions. Responsibilities include monitoring workload, allocating duties, ensuring duties are discharged safely and effectively, supervising the clinical team, and providing expertise in complex and high-risk cases, in line with Trust and Local Authority policies and procedures. The post holder will take a proactive approach to caseload supervision and management, ensuring that practitioner skills are matched to clinical need and that service users can 'flow' through pathways of care. The post holder will deputise for the Area Matron as required.
Main duties of the job
The Team Manager is a leadership role within the CMHT to support the delivery of a clinically safe and effective service. Reporting to the Area Matron, the post-holder will hold a complex caseload and ensure effective systems are in place for Caseload Management and Clinical Supervision across the team. The post-holder will take a lead role for agreed areas of work as required, act as an expert practitioner to colleagues, offering support and advice, promoting recovery principles and service user involvement, and supporting the Area Matron in ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures including care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding.

* Registered Nurse RMN
* Evidence of development or training at degree level or equivalent indicating a commitment to continued professional development and preparation for a senior leadership role.
* Recognised Mentorship qualification
