We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Weekend Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. If you're an ambitious individual looking to expand your nursing skills in a supportive, close-knit environment, this role is for you. We offer flexibility in our shift patterns to ensure a healthy work-life balance, so this part-time position offers 12-24hrs per week at your preference. We understand the value of your expertise and commitment, which is why we offer industry-leading salaries, ranging from £15.00-17.58 per hour, in line with your level of experience.
As a dedicated Weekend Nurse at Swift Referrals, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care to our first opinion and referral emergency cases and inpatients. Routinely, you will work with the emergency clinicians to provide the highest standard of emergency care to presenting patients and manage the patients in intensive care as well as hospitalized referral patients. You will work closely within a team of nurses, ACAs, and vets to support and focus on our absolute priority, which is delivering the highest possible quality of nursing care. We see a wide range of interesting cases across first opinion and referral emergencies and inpatients, so this is an amazing opportunity to really utilize your nursing skills to your full potential - all with the full support of our experienced team who will be there to guide you as you find your feet. As with all successful teams, we encourage everyone to be versatile and assist in other disciplines and emergencies as needed.
What you’ll bring to our team:
1. RVNs of all experience levels and nursing backgrounds are welcome to apply - we recruit based on attitude and aptitude, and full training and support is provided for our new team members.
2. Emergency or out of hours experience would be desirable due to the fast-paced nature of the role, and any further qualifications (for example CertECC or similar) would be beneficial.
Working pattern:
This part-time position encompasses 2 x 12hr day shifts to be worked on a Saturday and Sunday. We can consider applications from candidates who wish to work every weekend (which would equate to 24hrs/week), or to take on 2 RVNs as a job share if you would prefer to work every other weekend, which would equate to 12hrs/week on average.
