We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our clients residential children’s home near Ringwood. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care is provided. Lead and support a team of Residential Children’s Workers, offering guidance and supervision. Help to create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. Support the development and implementation of individual care plans. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies. Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management. Assist with administrative duties, rota planning, and ensuring smooth operations. What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a residential children’s home setting. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role. A passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards). A full UK driving licence.
