We are recruiting for a Repair Manager to join one of the fastest growing lift engineering businesses in the UK working out of their West Yorkshire office. This is a brilliant opportunity open to talented and ambitious engineers looking to make the transition into a managerial role, or likewise an experienced repairs manager interested in joining this ever-expanding business.
Your job as Repair Manager will involve the following:
1. Overseeing the day to day running of the repair department
2. Identify opportunities to improve department efficiencies
3. Providing support where possible to other members of the team
4. Planning of repair works and procurement of subcontractor labour when required
5. Manage and lead the repair team, ensuring good levels of performance
6. Oversee recruitment for the repair department
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience as a Lift Engineer, working on repairs or having run a repairs department within the lift industry
2. An NVQ Level 3 in lift engineering: Lift Service & Maintenance, Repair, Installation or J Module equivalent
3. A full UK driving license
