About the Role As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in maintaining the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Youll support the clinical team, lead daily care delivery, and ensure high-quality standards across the home. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and emotional support with dignity and respect Oversee care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments Administer medication per policy and training Lead by example and supervise junior staff Support residents during activities, outings, and community integration Ensure accurate records (e.g. hygiene, fluids, charts) are maintained Participate in service user reviews, meetings, and training Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards Carry out domestic tasks such as laundry and room tidiness as required What Youll Need NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Equivalent Minimum 2 years experience in adult social care Compassionate and proactive approach to care Confidence with record keeping and basic IT Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and occasional nights Why Join Apex Care Homes?
