This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced educator to support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and other special educational needs, guiding them to reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment. Role Overview : Plan and deliver tailored lessons for students with SEMH and a range of SEN needs. Implement creative and effective strategies to support learning and encourage positive behaviour management. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and external professionals, to create individualised learning plans. Provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth. Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and their families. The Ideal Candidate : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working in alternative education settings or with students who have SEMH and other SEN needs. Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students who may present challenges. A creative and adaptable teaching approach that motivates and inspires students. A genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs and helping them succeed academically and personally.
