Service Manager - Specialty Medicine
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking individual to join the management team within our Medicine Division. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations and work closely with senior medical and nursing leadership to ensure the delivery of high standards of patient care. This will be in line with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards and resource constraints.
The role involves managing a range of services within specialty medicine. As a service manager, you will work with and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring they perform at their best. You will also bring proven expertise in operational, financial, and performance management, along with leadership and influencing skills.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the patient experience and be able to effectively communicate ideas to both professionals and service users. Key qualifications, experience, skills and values include:
1. Qualifications : Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in a healthcare management role
3. Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and inspire a team is crucial
4. Values : A strong commitment to NHS values, including dignity and respect, compassion, one team, safety and quality
