Who are we?
Lufton College, located near Yeovil, offers day and residential programs supporting young people aged 16 to 25 with autism, additional learning needs, and complex behaviors. We focus on helping our students develop life skills, gain qualifications, and build confidence for independence.
The college spans over 40 acres across three sites, featuring forests, small farms, and outdoor spaces, providing a tranquil setting for learning and development.
About the role:
In this role, you'll support young people in community activities such as horse riding, swimming, cinema visits, pantomimes, and beach trips, enhancing their wellbeing and community access.
You will assist with placements and enrichment activities, ensuring a variety of future opportunities. Personal care responsibilities are also part of the role. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of trained professionals from Care, Education, and Therapeutic Services.
