Bodyshop Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 OTE £70,000
Position: Permanent, Monday to Friday
Bonus: Up to £10,000 Bonus per year

Clear Automotive is a specialist Automotive recruitment agency, working with accident repair and automotive organizations across the UK to fulfill their staffing requirements. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Bodyshop Manager/Production Manager who possesses the experience and knowledge of working in the accident repair market, to join a growing repair group, overseeing the daily operations of a growing repair site in Reading.
Our client is an expert within the accident repair market and due to growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Automotive Bodyshop Manager, who is experienced in managing an efficient, BSI approved site. A strong bodyshop/accident repair background is essential.
The Role: Bodyshop Manager
Your role will be varied and all-encompassing with the below duties:
1. Manage the on-site team of experts - Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimator, and all administrative staff.
2. Oversee entire site management, including Health and Safety, Performance Management, Financials, and Customer Service.
3. Set targets and ensure Key to Key and CSI targets are met or exceeded.
4. Provide strong leadership to direct reports and all site employees to drive performance and achieve or exceed all financial and operational targets.
5. Understand business needs, accounts, reports, and KPI's.
6. Effectively manage site resources and costs to optimize capability and profitability.
7. Monitor individual productive performance to minimize non-productive time.
8. Establish, maintain, and promote good working relations with key personnel.
9. Hold daily production meetings to ensure work completion targets with team leaders, parts, and reception staff.
10. Actively manage work provider and supplier relationships.
11. Deal with any customer issues.
