Senior Civil Enforcement Officer - Southwark - Full-time 42.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 - £30,203.40 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Parking Enforcement Officer in Southwark. Civil Enforcement Officers are responsible for ensuring that all drivers follow parking regulations on public streets and in car parks. They are an important part of keeping our roads moving and ensuring public safety. This role will assist in managing a team of Civil Enforcement Officers, enforcing regulations as directed under the Traffic Management Act (TMA) 2004.
What will you do?
1. Ensure all known and agreed policies are followed, setting a good example.
2. Make sure the correct number of Civil Enforcement Officers are deployed as per agreed service levels and contractual conditions.
3. Ensure all Requests for Action are commenced and managed effectively.
4. Review, monitor, supervise and direct staff according to contract requirements.
5. Train all staff in aspects of their job and in Health and Safety.
6. Conduct back to work interviews and maintain attendance levels within your teams.
7. Cascade information to all members of staff and maintain good communications throughout the contract.
8. Prepare reports as required by contract management.
9. Ensure overall client approval and attend training courses where required.
10. Ensure contract standards and quality are maintained at all times.
What will you bring?
1. At least one year of experience working in a managing role in the parking or customer services industry.
2. Experience with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and other parking legislation.
3. Aptitude to organise and motivate large numbers of contract staff.
4. Creation of reports.
5. Excellent personal skills with the competence to build and maintain positive working relationships.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. A Full Clean UK driving licence.
