Operation Knowledge and Training Administrator
Salary: Competitive
Location: Manchester Only – 6-Month FTC
Role:
The Training and Knowledge Admin role sits within the New Services function. The purpose of the role is to support the training and knowledge functions with administration to ensure the timely creation, update and governance of operational training and knowledge within DCC.
What will you be doing?
1. Work with the extended team and key stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of Smart Metering to effectively support the Knowledge and Training function.
2. Act as gate keeper for the Training and Knowledge front door processes, in consultation with team develop and maintain a process to assign and schedule requests within the relevant workstack.
3. Support the team with general training and Knowledge administration tasks including scheduling meetings, note taking, collating feedback, scheduling training events, booking venues, managing training records, collating, and publishing reports.
4. Responsible for the Knowledge and Training communications internally and externally in consultation with the team.
5. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the LMS, including User management, Course assignment, engagement reports and the monitoring of training completion and following up on non-compliance.
6. Manage document categories/groups and user profiles within the knowledge management systems (SharePoint Wiki and ServiceNow) to ensure knowledge is accessible to the appropriate users within the Knowledge Management system as defined by the business.
7. Identify further opportunities to support the Training and Knowledge functions by gaining an in-depth understanding of the teams’ strategy and processes.
8. Create and manage a repository for unpublished content for the team on SharePoint.

* Service Centre (Smart metering & Switching service management)
* Service Providers (Managed by DCC)
* Service users (Energy providers, Distribution Network Operators and Other users)
What are we looking for?
* Strategic & Business Planning, Energy industry knowledge, Organisational skills, People management, process management, attention to detail.
* Communication and interpersonal Team working, Stakeholder management, relationship building.
* Experience working in an administrative position ideally in a similar role.
* Experience working in a programmatic environment ideally within the energy sector.
