Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring pupils are escorted to their correct classes and dealing with complicated parent queries.
2. Answering a busy school switchboard and transferring calls to the correct department.
3. Making calls to parents/carers and transferring to the classroom.
4. Utilizing CPOMs, Arbor, school sign-in system, Excel, Word, etc.
5. Assisting in entering all course certificates onto a spreadsheet and safeguarding.
6. Monitoring the entrance to the school's electronic gates and intercom for cars and pedestrians.
7. Managing the security intercom for the front door, ensuring every visitor has the correct colour lanyard and department.
8. Announcing over the school tannoy system and entering registers.
9. Monitoring the alarm system connected to each classroom that sounds if urgent assistance is needed, and using walkie-talkies to ensure incidents are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
10. Maintaining the First Aid book and assisting with events like Christmas Fayre and Coffee mornings.
11. Performing photocopying, franking, fire and health & safety tasks, managing stationery, and helping the general wellbeing of a Special Needs School.
