About the Role:
* Teach Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics at GCSE and A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts and applications.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
* Support students in preparing for their GCSE and A Level Mathematics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
* Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Mathematics education.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Mathematics and a commitment to student success.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Has a good understanding of the GCSE and A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications and assessment requirements.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
