This warm and welcoming family located in beautiful South Cotswolds is seeking a gentle, kind and experienced nanny to join them from February to November 2025 to care for their one-year-old son. This 9 month fixed-term role, ending when he begins nursery, provides a unique opportunity to become a meaningful part of this delightful family’s life.
Your primary focus will be caring for their curious, happy and relaxed baby, supporting his routine with enriching play and nutritious meals, largely at their beautifully renovated home. The family are also keen to actively encourage and support their nanny in arranging local outings for their little boy, including his weekly baby swim class, soft play trips and playdates with other nannies. Their sunlit garden and nearby village green and playpark offer wonderful settings for outdoor fun, just a short walk away. Their sweet and bubbly three-year-old daughter, who currently adores animals, dinosaurs, books and building with Duplo, will join in the fun during school holidays. A confident rural driver with a clean licence and own vehicle is essential, an additional car seat will be provided if preferred.
Their home is a child-friendly haven, with a spacious former school hall turned into an inviting play area, perfect for dancing, toys and all kinds of activities. The modern kitchen, with ample storage, easy-to-clean tiled flooring and two ovens, is ideal for both family meals and creative baking. One parent will work from a separate study area each day, respecting the nanny and child’s time together so the household can flow without interruption.
Both parents are busy professionals, who value flexibility to end their workday by 4.30pm, making family dinners and quality time together a priority. This gentle, child-focused family embraces a bilingual (English-French) home, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding and baby-led weaning. They are hoping for a warm, calm and relaxed nanny who will support their parenting style and become a positive presence in their household.
Interviews are planned for late November to early December, aiming to confirm their nanny by the New Year.
