About Our Client:

They are committed to achieving excellence and are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of their homes.
The Role:
As the Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering outstanding care to the young people in residence. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation passionate about making a difference in young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the home meets and exceeds the standards outlined in the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and achieves positive Ofsted outcomes.
* Lead and develop the staff team, fostering a collaborative and motivated working environment.
* Implement a therapeutic approach to care, addressing the needs of young people with attachment or trauma backgrounds.
* Manage budgets, resources, and compliance with organisational policies.
* Act as an advocate for young people, ensuring they receive the support and services required.
* Collaborate with Local Authorities, social workers, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
* Oversee health and safety and ensure the home’s structure and resources are maintained to a high standard.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent), or a willingness to complete this qualification.
* Proven experience in managing a children’s residential home.
* Strong knowledge of therapeutic care practices and an understanding of trauma and attachment.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
* A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* Enhanced DBS check required.
