As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Administration Assistant to support their team and contribute to ongoing success. This is a varied and engaging position that requires a motivated individual with experience in purchasing and general office administration. While experience in the fabrication industry is beneficial, it is not essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process purchase orders and production paperwork with accuracy and efficiency Maintain supplier information and pricing through data entry tasks Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to confirm orders and resolve discrepancies Organize and maintain filing systems for procurement documents Use software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations Utilize QuickBooks for tracking purchases and managing financial records Provide general administrative support as required Handle phone communications professionally when liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams Requirements Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within purchasing or procurement Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (desirable but not essential) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette If you are a proactive and detail-driven individual looking to join a growing business, we encourage you to apply.
