Children's Home Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Home Manager to lead a residential care home for children and young people. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment, enabling young people to thrive and reach their full potential.
Located in Poulton-le-Fylde, a charming historic market town in Lancashire, the home offers a welcoming and supportive setting within easy reach of Blackpool.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing
2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support staff, including social workers, carers, and administrative personnel
3. Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and young person
4. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and provide regular reports to senior management
5. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting personal development and growth for young residents
6. Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies to support the care and progress of the children
Requirements:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
2. Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential care setting
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
4. In-depth knowledge of child safeguarding and relevant legislation
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
6. A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people
