This primary school in Ealing is seeking a dynamic and motivated teacher to join our team as a Year 6 Writing Booster Teacher. About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Deliver targeted writing interventions for Year 6 students, focusing on improving core skills in grammar, punctuation, composition, and spelling.
* Work closely with class teachers to identify and support pupils needing additional help to achieve their full potential.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions that address specific gaps in knowledge and build writing confidence.
* Track and monitor student progress, adapting strategies to ensure individual success.
* Create a positive, nurturing learning environment that inspires creativity and encourages high standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Have proven experience teaching writing to Key Stage 2 pupils, preferably Year 6.
* Be knowledgeable about the KS2 Writing Framework and SATs expectations.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in English and an ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities.
* Possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
* Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their best outcomes.
