As an IT Apprentice, youll be at the heart of our technical operations, playing a vital role in keeping their systems running smoothly and ensuring their internal team and external clients receive top-notch IT support. From troubleshooting issues to managing hardware installations, no two days will be the same A Typical Day in the Job: Handle incoming calls and manage support tickets via the internal system. Provide technical support remotely or on-site, utilising our help desk software. Troubleshoot IT issues using tools like Task Manager, Command Prompt, PowerShell, and Dato RMM. Configure, install, and upgrade hardware, including routers and firewalls, both physically and virtually. Perform regular system maintenance, including managing daily backups. Prepare new devices (laptops, desktops, mobile phones) for customer use, ensuring theyre fully set up and ready to go. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: Salary : £17,000 per annum Hours : Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 5:30 pm Holiday : 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus additional paid leave for each year of service, up to 5 extra days.
