Job summary Clinical Fellow, Dermatology, 1.0 WTE Fixed Term for 1 year - ST3 Level and above Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow post in the Department of Dermatology, Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The appointee will join a friendly and active department with an excellent reputation for teaching and training. The Department of Dermatology is a dynamic, forward thinking department, delivering a range of dermatological services including paediatric dermatology, skin cancer services, genital dermatoses and complex psoriasis. The service is outpatient focused, with facilities for day case and surgical procedures. The department offers a broad range of dermatological experience, including a wide assortment of inflammatory, sarcoidosis and haematodermatology conditions. Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and will be required to meet the essential criteria as described in the person specification. Potential candidates should have at least six month's dermatology experience in the NHS within the United Kingdom. Main duties of the job The post holder will join a team of 4 junior doctors within the dermatology department providing a comprehensive dermatology service with both in and out-patient experience under the supervision of the dermatology consultants. The department encourages direct emergency referrals form GPs and provides a walk-in service during clinic hours. An out-of hours advice service for such cases is provided by the SpRs and clinical fellow, who are on-call (non-resident) on a 1 in 4 rota supported by the Consultants.
