Project Design Manager
Location: Staffordshire (In Office with regular travel)
Salary: £55,000 (DoE)
Are you an experienced Project Design Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead design delivery on high-profile construction projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation throughout the process.
The Role:
* Lead and manage the design team through the project design stage.
* Oversee client design management and communication.
* Create and manage design programmes, ensuring timely delivery.
* Control design change, scope drift, and cost implications.
* Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and manage all digital design elements.
* Monitor and improve design quality, ensuring outputs meet project requirements.
* Support pre-construction teams in early-stage design development.
* Hold regular design review meetings and provide clear reporting on progress.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, particularly in temporary works.

Desirables:
* Experience working on prefabrication or modular construction projects.
* Familiarity with digital modelling, calculations, and technical documentation.
* Strong understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety in design.
