The service provides high quality care and works to an enabling philosophy to facilitate patients to achieve their maximal level of independence thereby facilitating discharge and reducing length of stay in hospital.The candidate should be motivated and enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills when communicating with patients, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be able to use skills to carry out simple assessments, follow care plans and prescribe routine equipment within the scope of the job and to a level of assessed competence.
