Support Worker for Special Needs Children
Empowering Learning is working closely with a behavioural school, supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health struggles across Salford. The ideal candidate should be resilient and confident.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting special needs children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing one-on-one assistance to students with special needs.
2. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.
3. Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and promoting independence.
Requirements
1. Experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential.
2. Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
5. Enhanced DBS on Update Service / or commitment to apply.
