What you’ll do at work Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons. Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources. Support students in their learning activities and help them stay focused and engaged. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage student participation and promote confidence in learning. Administrative Tasks:Maintain accurate student records and documentation. Assist in organizing classroom displays and resources. Helped prepare reports and assessments as needed. Behaviour Management:Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive conduct. Assist in implementing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour and safety. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. Work towards relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors for continuous improvement.
