Great opportunity for a Production Technician/Operative to join a forward thinking manufacturing organisation in the area.
The role is presented initially on a temporary basis for 6 months but with a view to developing into a permanent position thereafter.
The Position:
The role includes carefully cleaning and handling highly expensive production equipment and machinery and is an essential part of our clients production process.
Must be able to follow instructions and standard operation procedures.
You will be required to disassemble, clean and assemble wet parts and other machine parts to company micro standards, undergoing training and working to manufacturer’s instructions.
You will need to demonstrate the operation of a safe operating environment, including chemical usage required in cleaning and preparing for micro testing.
Participate in continuous improvement.
Ensure daily and weekly cleaning regimes are adhered to.
Report any malfunctioning equipment to your Shift Manager
Update the system/stores to confirm materials are in stock and ready for use
The Ideal Person:
Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for an individual who has worked in a similar capacity before including washing down of parts.
Alternatively, someone with Production|/FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) experience would be equally suitable.
