Interview Date: To be confirmed The Salvation Army Hadleigh Farm Estate incorporates Hadleigh Training Centre, Rare Breeds Centre, and the Hub Café The work carried out across the Hadleigh Farm Estate reflects The Salvation Army's core Mission, 'Love God, Love Others' The Hadleigh Farm Colony was established in 1891 by William Booth and was developed as part of the Salvation Army's pioneering social programme to empower people living in poverty and experiencing long term unemployment; work in which resonates with the progressive work across the Estate today. As a Maintenance Person, you will offer support to the Facilities team which offers a service to the whole Estate carrying out general and emergency works as required, alongside completing the scheduled maintenance tasks. This role is varied and can include a wide range of tasks from repairing fences and decorating to setting up for events, conducting fire alarm checks and maintaining site facilities to ensure a safe working environment for all who attend the site. This role is varied and can be physically demanding and requires working in all weather conditions.
