Group Actuarial Reporting Manager
This is a great job for someone to develop a wide range of stakeholder relationships and broaden commercial and technical knowledge across Life, GI and investment business in a number of countries.
The role provides an exciting opportunity to work on PLC level financial results for a Global composite insurer, including supporting external messaging to our investors and the financial markets.
A bit about the job:
The Group Capital Reporting team is part of the Chief Capital Officer area and collaborates with business unit teams across Aviva to provide consolidated SII Group financial reporting results. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for review and challenge of business unit submissions, explanation of financial results (both actual and forecast) and the production of reporting documents including the Aviva external results document (the ‘Analyst Pack’), Annual Report and Accounts and internal management information documents such as audit committee papers that support the financial results.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Qualified or nearly qualified actuary
2. Financial or regulatory reporting experience
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly interpret large sets of complex financial results and focus on what matters
4. Strong communication skills, verbal and written – ability to communicate complex issues simply, across all levels and develop excellent relationships with markets and senior stakeholders
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team, taking ownership of tasks through to completion, considering risk and controls appropriately

6. Starting salary between £65,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
