Head of Mobilisation & Transition - Facilities Management - London/Hybrid - to £85k plus car and bonus
Ideal opportunity for and experienced FM Mobilisations & Transitions Manager to step into a senior role, heading up a Mobilisation and Transition team.
You will ensure the successful delivery of all contract mobilisations, transitions, re-mobilisations, de-mobilisations and any required change project/programme for in compliance with the relevant contract deliverables and KPIs.
Headline Accountabilities:
• To design, implement and lead the Mobilisation and Transition strategy in line with company strategic, operational, financial, and commercial objectives.
• To support the Business Development Team in ‘productising’ Mobilisation and Transition (and Transformation) so that its concept can be used to establish competitive advantage and differentiation within the FM Marketplace
• To support the Business Development Team in selling Mobilisation and Transition (and Transformation) service to new and existing clients.
• To ensure that all existing and future Mobilisations and Transition projects are adequately resourced with Mobilisation and Transition Managers and Operational Leads at all times.
• To perform the role of the Mobilisation and Transition Manager as and when required. This may also include leading any required change projects/programmes.
• To design and own the Mobilisation and Transition Playbook (and all associated documentation) and ensure that all stakeholders are competent and able to comply with this SOP.
Daily tasks will include:
• Bid pipeline tracking
• Programme design and implementation
• Strategy design and implementation
• Resource tracking & assignment
• Training and development of Mobilisation and Transition team
• IMS document management for Mobilisation and Transition and demobilisation
• Tender writing reviews, pricing design, project plan design
• Document and process standardisation
• Mobilisation and transition progress tracking and reporting
• Senior management briefings on progress and risks
• Team/ client escalation and query handling
• Governance structure implementation (with team, SMEs, Directors, BD and Senior Management)
• Continuous improvement of ownership areas
• Team line management
• Budget management
What we are looking for:
• Experience in leading and managing a Mobilisation and Change service within an FM context
• Extensive experience in leading and managing the mobilisation of major TFM contracts
• Extensive experience within a TFM Account Management role as well as a Mobilisation Management role
• Extensive experience in FM operations and operational design
• Project Management accredited (ideally APM-PMQ)
• Thorough technical knowledge, plus relevant experience, of the operation and maintenance of a TFM environment.
• Knowledge of the current legislation and mandatory standards relating to safe working practices.
• Valid full driving licence
