About the Role In this role, you will: Deliver targeted writing interventions for Year 6 students, focusing on improving core skills in grammar, punctuation, composition, and spelling. Work closely with class teachers to identify and support pupils needing additional help to achieve their full potential. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions that address specific gaps in knowledge and build writing confidence. Track and monitor student progress, adapting strategies to ensure individual success. Create a positive, nurturing learning environment that inspires creativity and encourages high standards. About You The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have proven experience teaching writing to Key Stage 2 pupils, preferably Year 6. Be knowledgeable about the KS2 Writing Framework and SATs expectations. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in English and an ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities. Possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their best outcomes.
