An expanding company in the Blyth area is looking for a Production / Test Technician with experience of mechanical assembly and measurement tools
The main responsibilities of the Production / Test Technician role are: -
Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical components and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team
Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and company procedures
Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports
Use specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider, drive bench/ pump
Use inspection equipment such as micrometers, vernier's and bore gauges to measure components
Maintain the production equipment and machinery
Prepare jobs for shipment, including painting, packing and providing weights & dimensions to the office to arrange shipment; including subcontract shipments to suppliers
Receive and grid incoming RMAs, checking and recording part numbers, serial numbers, damage, missing parts etc.
Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsYOUR SKILLS
