The Mary Erskine School is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Business Education to join the School on a temporary basis as soon as possible (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks) until 27 June 2025. The role is full time, with a salary of (£34,508 - £49,977 per annum) depending on experience. The role is based at The Mary Erskine School Ravelston site.
The purpose of the role is to deliver Business Management and Economics up to SQA higher Level and National 5.
The successful candidate must have General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration, or be eligible for registration, with a recognised relevant teaching qualification. Experience and familiarity with Scottish Qualifications is desirable.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
