We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school.
The successful candidate will:
1. actively engage with children during lunchtime
2. be responsible to Senior Leaders for the conduct and safety of pupils throughout the school during lunchtime
3. be responsible for a team of lunchtime supervisors including safer recruitment, induction, back to work interviews, and training
4. have the ability to remain calm and fair whilst upholding the school’s policies
5. relate well with children of all ages
6. be a role model for children by treating them with respect and acting fairly but assertively in implementing the school’s policies
7. understand safeguarding and how to report any concerns appropriately
8. assist children in the dinner hall to choose and eat a healthy lunch, encouraging the use of good manners and social skills and ensuring a clean and safe environment
9. be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
10. have up-to-date knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore, the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
