Position Overview: The firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (1-2 years PQE) to manage their own caseload of Wills, Probate, Lasting Power of Attorney, and PI Trust matters, while assisting Partners when necessary. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of Wills, Probate, Lasting Power of Attorney, and PI Trust matters. • Draft wills and amendments in accordance with client needs. • Handle estate administration, including obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration. • Support internal departments with Letters of Administration for litigation purposes. • Draft and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney. • Assist in PI Trust matters, working alongside the Personal Injury department (training provided). • Handle initial client enquiries with professionalism and empathy. • Work closely with paralegals, trainees, and support staff in the Private Client team. Requirements: Essential: • 1-2 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor. • Experience in drafting wills and estate administration. • Proven ability to obtain grants of probate and letters of administration. • Knowledge of Lasting Powers of Attorney. • Close attention to detail with strong drafting and case management skills. • Personable and professional, with excellent communication skills. Desirable: • Experience in PI Trust matters (training will be provided). • A strong interest in growing and developing within a leading Private Client team.
