Job Description
In our purpose-built Electronics facility, we have the tools required to develop new technologies, deliver exciting research projects and above all support our dynamic team of Engineers, ensuring that they flourish and realise their goals and targets. We are looking for a passionate Senior Electronics Test & Inspection Technician to join our team at Red Bull Technology Group.
This role is required to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise the day-to-day tasks of the Test and Inspection technicians/Electronics apprentices and to provide leadership and technical support to these team members. Also, in the absence of the Test and Inspection Group Leader, to take delegated responsibility for their tasks.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Test and inspect all sensors, harnesses and components assemblies in accordance with the current documentation and procedures.
2. Generate fault reports as required for issues occurring in the factory.
3. Ensure that all Epicor and TLS transactions are carried out for all work in a timely fashion, maintaining complete Epicor and TLS assembly integrity.
4. Provide support to the Test & Inspection Group Leader and mentoring to the Test and Inspection Technicians / Electronics apprentices.
Additional Accountabilities:
1. Monitor and maintain a clean and tidy working environment, working within the groups COSHH guidelines and ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are met.
2. Ensure that companywide policies and procedures are adhered to wherever and whenever appropriate.
3. To always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / team / sponsors.
4. Co-ordinate the supply of electronic Assy’s and components to third party customers and liaise with them to meet their requirements.
Technical Competencies:
1. Fully experienced in Inspection and Test of all electronic items received from third parties and produced by RBTG - Including shaker testing.
2. Is certified to inspect PCA’s/PCBs to IPC standards.
3. Has knowledge and use of all company applicable systems including Team Planner / EPICOR / TLS etc. to be able to effectively plan and manage T&I workload.
4. Is fully able to demonstrate the ability to plan and manage the day-to-day tasks of the test and inspection group effectively by liaising with other groups / depts.
