The role
As our content marketer, you’ll become the owner of our content, helping us to stand out from the crowd and tell our story in a credible, authentic and engaging way. You will be responsible for creating, curating, and optimising high quality content that drives engagement, generates leads, and supports brand awareness efforts. You’ll produce content in a variety of formats – including website and blogs, whitepapers and case studies, through to video scripts, press releases, and campaign content – while ensuring consistency in brand messaging and voice.
You’ll work collaboratively with the marketing team and across the company, as well as with customers, to produce a variety of content types to support both commercial and brand objectives. You’ll be equally adept at creating short form copy for performance marketing through to longer form thought leadership pieces.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute a content strategy to build awareness of Definely, our product, brand and ultimately convert prospects into leads and customers
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights for content that speaks to customer pain points and business objectives and elevates Definely’s position in market
· Optimise content for SEO and ensure all materials follow best practices for search visibility.
· Adapt campaign creatives, product marketing messaging and collateral to create a wide range of content in a variety of formats.
· Analyse content performance using data and analytics to optimise future content and improve engagement metrics.
· Work with marketing to create a distinct voice in LegalTech, ensuring we’re known for our mission, values, brand and product strengths.
· Stay updated on industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and valuable to our audience.
About you
· 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, with a portfolio of published work.
· Ideally, you’ll have gained some of your experience in a startup or scaleup where you’ve contributed content in a variety of formats, for different mediums and for different purposes
· Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, storytelling, and engagement. You’re always seeking out new ways to build a compelling narrative around our company, products and customers.
· A superb copywriter, able to get your ideas across in engaging ways whether in 5 or 500 words
· Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimisation strategies.
· Ability to balance creativity with a data-driven approach to measure content’s impact.
· Excellent organisational and project management skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
