Position: Domestic Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our team in Glencairn Care Home on a bank contract. Part time hours may be available.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home, ensuring communal areas and our residents' bedrooms are clean and tidy.
2. Clean en-suites, public toilets, baths, and hand basins daily as per the cleaning schedule provided by management.
Qualifications:
1. Preferably have previous experience in a similar role or sector.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
3. Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
4. Have the confidence to work autonomously.
5. Strong attention to detail and respect for residents' dignity and privacy, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
