Here at XPO Logistics, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Transport Administrator to join our existing team in Wakefield, on a full-time, permanent basis, working a 1000 to 1800 shift pattern.
The role involves a wide range of transport operational responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Pay, benefits, and more:
We’re offering a salary of up to £27,000 per annum. Additionally, we provide 20 days holiday, with options to buy extra days. Benefits include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and other perks.
Typical daily responsibilities:
1. Recording vehicle accidents and escalating these to line management.
2. Handling all transport-related administrative tasks.
3. Building and maintaining strong communication with transport functions and drivers.
Requirements to succeed at XPO:
1. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
2. Proven administrative experience.
3. A positive, 'can-do' attitude promoting a collaborative team environment.
4. IT literacy and numerical skills.
