We are seeking a Technical Partnership Manager in the expanding technical team to continue building and maintaining these environments, and to add a new perspective in the next generation of our learning environments. You thrive on tackling technical challenges from all angles - whether it's gathering requirements, selecting partners, testing products, planning integrations, or ensuring training delivery. You take business requirements and design comprehensive solutions that align with existing policies and procedures. Then, you continuously optimize and refine services and workflows to drive ongoing improvement. You will own each product through its entire lifecycle.
Description
There is no typical day in this role. Some days will be spent on-site with users, or reviewing a recent integration, the next may be negotiating a contract for new services, leading a software development team to help integrate a product, or writing testing requirements. This is a diverse role for someone that loves all aspects of technical partner management.
Partner Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all partners.
* Develop a deep understanding of each partner and relationship. Negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
* Set, track, and report key performance indicators with each partner.
* Manage, deliver, and report on several concurrent projects of various sizes to the business.
* Lead technical implementations and regular reviews between partners, integrators, and end-users.
* Leverage vendor resources to educate target users effectively.
* Oversee custom software development or manage software development teams to create utilities designed to enhance the integration of services into the learning environment.
Technical Management
* Responsible for the implementation, operation, and support of partner services.
* Gather requirements, create test plans, and define success criteria, followed by executing tests to ensure requirements are met.
* Be thoroughly involved in the up-skilling of both support and end-user teams on product use.
* Scope projects to enhance the learning environment and work with vendors on identifying and solving issues.
Other Responsibilities
* Communicate proactively with teams and manage the process of service outages, enhancements, and/or integration migrations.
* Ensure compliance of the technical stack with security, data requirements, and regional data protection regulations.
* Constantly seek areas of improvement.
* Adopt a consultative approach to problem-solving.
* Work independently and as part of diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
* Participate in out-of-hour calls when collaborating across different regions and time zones.
Minimum Qualifications
* Excellent written and verbal English.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Javascript, Swift, PHP).
* Experienced integrator of services with Identity Access Management (IAM) platforms (OIDC, SAML, SSO, SCIM, JWT).
* Thorough understanding of REST API consumption and delivery.
* Experience in software development (such as Swift, Javascript, PHP) or software development team management.
* Experience in contract negotiation and issue resolution with partners.
* Experience leading a technical team focused on integrated products.
* Successful candidate needs to be available to travel internationally one week per month.
Preferred Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Certification/s with development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc).
* Familiar with project management tools (Atlassian Confluence, JIRA).
* Certifications in project management.
* Cloud Security Certification/s.
* Ethical Hacker Certification/s.
* Fluency in French, Italian, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese advantageous.
