Person specification
Education and qualifications
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Willingness to undertake NVQ Level 2 and 3 in care
* Completion of Trust Support Worker Programme
* ECDL or equivalent
Experience
* Experience working with the public and in a care environment
Skills, ability and knowledge
* Effective communication skills
* Good hygiene practices
* Ability to follow instructions and provide feedback
* Teamwork and independent working skills
* Understanding of NHS structure and current issues
